BRITISH SPY THRILLER TO PREMIERE AT MINGHELLA FESTIVAL

The new British independent feature Eliminate Archie Cookson has been invited to have its premiere screening at the Minghella Film Festival on the Isle of Wight this month.
Eliminate Archie Cookson is an espionage comedy thriller starring Paul Rhys as the eponymous downtrodden spy, reduced to the role of linguist in a dusty Whitehall sub-basement. His life takes a further turn for the worse, when stolen secret tapes land on his desk and Archie becomes the target of a frenzied hit man sent to retrieve them.
First time writer/director Rob Holder has given the spy thriller genre a distinctive comedic twist. “I am very excited and flattered to have ‘Eliminate Archie Cookson’ premiere at the Minghella Film Festival.” Rob said. “Anthony Minghella’s creative light shone all too briefly and I would like to thank the Minghella family who, through the Festival, have created a beacon of inspiration and support for new film makers.”
Eliminate Archie Cookson also stars Claire Skinner, Paul Ritter and Georgia King and is currently seeking UK distribution. For a trailer visit http://www.agentpictures.com.
