THE HERMIT - Cannibal Horror
Hollywood icon Lou Ferrigno stars in the cannibal horror thriller ‘THE HERMIT’, marking his first-ever horror film role and his first creature performance since The Incredible Hulk.
Directed by Salvatore Sclafani, ‘THE HERMIT’ follows teenagers Lisa and Eric, whose trip into the woods turns into a fight for survival when they encounter a reclusive pig farmer with a deadly secret. The film also stars Malina Weissman (A Series of Unfortunate Events) and Anthony Turpel (Love, Victor).
‘THE HERMIT’ will be released on Digital and On Demand on March 3, 2026, via Uncork’d Entertainment, following its Los Angeles premiere on March 2, 2026.
Synopsis: Dragged on a vacation to the woods, teenagers Lisa and Eric’s outing quickly spirals into a nightmare as they fight for their lives against an unstoppable cannibal pig farmer.

ELSE - Body-Horror
A genre-bending body-horror nightmare from director Thibault Emin.
Anx has just met Cass when a mysterious virus breaks out. Across the city, people’s bodies begin merging with everyday objects. Trapped inside their apartment, the couple must confront a disturbing new reality as the boundaries between human and inanimate collapse. 'ELSE' is Emin’s debut feature, delivering a Cronenbergian blend of body-horror and science fiction.
The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival and screened internationally, including Sitges, where Emin received the Directorial Revelation award.
LEARNING YOU - Drama
‘LEARNING YOU’ is a heartfelt father-and-son drama inspired by true events, coming to UK & Irish cinemas from 13 March 2026.
Produced and directed by Tyler Sansom, the film follows Ty Smith, a struggling architect who embarks on an impulsive road trip with his autistic son, Elijah. Facing the possible loss of his son to state care, Ty must confront his past, rebuild trust, and learn what unconditional love truly means. Along the way, Elijah’s imaginary companion — a life-sized stuffed bear named Nook — adds humour, warmth, and unexpected guidance.
Set against locations ranging from stark hospital corridors to the beaches of Myrtle Beach, ‘LEARNING YOU’ explores themes of neurodiversity, family, second chances, and hope, offering an honest portrayal of parenting, healing, and connection.
The film stars Caleb Milby, alongside Stacy Haiduk (Days Of Our Lives, The Young & the Restless), Daniel Roebuck (Matlock, The Fugitive), Cameron Arnett, John Wells, Al Snow, and Read Choi.
EMPIRE OF LIES - Psychological Thriller
'EMPIRE OF LIES' is a UK psychological thriller directed by Matthew Hope ('THE VETERAN', 'ALL THE DEVIL’S MEN') and stars Joseph Millson and Natalie Spence.
The film follows David “Dave” Harris, a reclusive man living on the fringes of society who agrees to an interview about the unresolved murder of his daughter. As the interrogation unfolds, Dave’s belief that he was framed by the State begins to unravel, blurring the line between truth, obsession and self-deception.
Anchored by a two-hander performance from Joseph Millson ('CASINO ROYALE', 'THE LAST KINGDOM', '24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY'), the film takes an intimate, performance-led approach while exploring paranoia, institutional mistrust and moral ambiguity.
'EMPIRE OF LIES' marks a shift in tone for director Matthew Hope, moving away from action-driven storytelling toward a more psychologically focused and character-driven narrative.

BONE KEEPER - Survival Horror Sci-Fi

In 1976, James Wheeler enters a cave searching for answers and is never seen again, leaving behind only a single frame of Super 8 film showing the silhouette of a horrifying creature. Decades later, his granddaughter and a group of explorers return to uncover the truth behind the legend of the Bone Keeper – only to realise they are being hunted.
The film stars Sarah Alexandra Marks, Louis James, Tiffany Hannam-Daniels, and John Rhys-Davies. 'BONE KEEPER' will celebrate its World Premiere at a sold-out FrightFest Glasgow screening on 6 March 2026, before releasing across all major UK digital platforms from 6 April 2026 via Plaion Pictures.
CHILDREN OF BELTANE - British Folk Horror

THE BLUE TRAIL - Drama, Sci-Fi
MetFilm has released the official trailer and poster for ‘THE BLUE TRAIL’, the bold near-future drama from Brazilian director Gabriel Mascaro (NEON BULL).
Set in a near-future Brazil where productivity is valued above all else, the film follows 77-year-old Tereza as she refuses to comply with a government policy that forcibly relocates elderly citizens to remote colonies. Choosing freedom over submission, she embarks on a transformative journey through the Amazon in pursuit of one final wish.
Starring Denise Weinberg and Rodrigo Santoro, ‘THE BLUE TRAIL’ explores themes of ageism, resistance, and the displacement of Indigenous communities, while reflecting on dignity, resilience, and meaning later in life.
The film debuted at the Berlin Film Festival, where it won three awards including the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize, and has also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.
‘THE BLUE TRAIL’ will be released in UK & Irish cinemas on 17 April 2026.
BEYOND SASQUATCH - Psychological Sci-Fi Horror

SURVIVING EARTH - UK Indie Drama
Based on a true story, ‘SURVIVING EARTH’ is the feature debut from UK writer-director Thea Gajić.
The film follows Vlad, a talented harmonica player who fled the conflict in Yugoslavia and rebuilt his life in the UK. Now living in Bristol and working as a counsellor, Vlad forms a Balkan music band with friends from work. As the group begins to find success, unresolved trauma from his past resurfaces, threatening the life he has carefully rebuilt and his relationship with his daughter Maria.
‘SURVIVING EARTH’ had its World Premiere at SXSW and will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 24 April 2026.
The film stars Slavko Sobin, Olive Gray, Stuart Martin, Peter Coonan, Toni Gojanović and Ann Ogbomo.
