FrightFest 2025: UK’s Biggest Horror Film Festival Reveals Full Line-Up
FrightFest, the UK’s premier horror and fantasy film festival, returns for its 26th edition at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square and West End from Thursday 21 August to Monday 25 August 2025. With 69 feature films, 25 main screen premieres, and 44 Discovery Screen entries, this year’s programme promises the weird, the wild, and the wonderful from around the world.

Opening Film – 'THE HOME'
From The Purge creator James DeMonaco, 'THE HOME' makes its UK premiere courtesy of Signature Entertainment. Comedian and actor Pete Davidson stars as Max, a rebellious twenty-something sentenced to community service in a quiet retirement home — a setting that soon becomes a suspense-filled nightmare.
Closing Film – 'INFLUENCERS'
FrightFest 2025 concludes with the UK premiere of Kurtis David Harder’s 'INFLUENCERS', the second film in Shudder’s original franchise. Known for its stylish and twisted narrative, this instalment explores the return of the chameleon-like CW — a mysterious figure who triggers online obsession and offline terror.
