Directed by Brian Burkhardt, this compelling feature documentary charts the life of the veteran Las Vegas comic whose career was built on unfiltered insult comedy and a fearless stage presence. Once regarded as the golden boy of stand-up, Vinnie’s two-decade Vegas residency and reputation were shattered by a crippling gambling addiction that left him owing money to friends, fellow comedians and strangers alike.
Starting out in Boston in 1986 alongside comedy names such as David Cross, Joe Rogan, Nick Di Paolo and Louis C.K., Vinnie quickly carved out a place for himself in the stand-up scene before moving to Sin City – a place seemingly made for him, for better or for worse.
