Freestyle Digital Media will release the music documentary 'FINDING LUCINDA' on September 9, 2025, available on North American VOD and DVD.
Directed by Joel Fendelman, the film follows aspiring singer/songwriter ISMAY (Avery Hellman) on a journey through the American South, tracing the influences that shaped Lucinda Williams, the three-time GRAMMY® winner.
The documentary features never-before-heard early recordings from Lucinda Williams and interviews with Buddy Miller, Charlie Sexton, Mary Gauthier, Max & Josh Baca, John Grimaudo, Wolf Stephenson, Ray Kennedy, and Lucinda Williams herself.
The release is part of a larger project including:
