MegaCity Media has dropped an exclusive BritFlicks trailer for 'SPACE GOBLINS' — a cult sci-fi action epic that turbo-charges the original underground animated short into a bigger, bloodier live-action universe. Think neon-drenched megacities, cigarette-burn wastelands, and two very bad (very funny) bounty-hunter brothers, Gib and Gob, doing what they do best: causing spectacular trouble.
Goblins, Grit, and a Whole Lot of World-Building
The new trailer wastes no time: one second you’re under Blade Runner-esque skylines, the next you’re skidding through Mad Max-style dust storms. Practical effects, miniatures, a splash of Ai, and a truckload of imagination make this feel like “Troma meets Dredd” — brash, unfiltered, and proudly handmade.
Bounty-hunter brothers Gib & Gob vs. alien scum
DIY grit + future-shock spectacle
Practical effects & miniatures front and centre
Cyberpunk to wasteland in a heartbeat
“Space Goblins is one of those projects that comes around once in a lifetime… I don’t just want to be a part of this film, I need to be a part of this film.”
— Michael Joy | Producer of 'SPACE GOBLINS'
Soundtrack Tease: Mike Haunted’s “1983”
Under the carnage, the trailer pulses with “1983” by Mike Haunted — a synth-driven banger that locks the film’s vibe: retro-neon energy, blood-splattered bravado, and an unapologetic sense of fun.
Two Posters. Exclusive Screenshots. Maximum Chaos.
Alongside the trailer, MegaCity Media has revealed two brand-new posters plus exclusive screenshots, giving a closer look at the Goblinverse: warlords, zealots, mutants, criminals — and two brothers who aren’t exactly diplomats.
Expanding the Goblinverse
The universe isn’t stopping at the screen. MegaCity Media has already launched comic runs — including Knee Deep in the Gob — with artist-led visions (Nicholas Ceasar and more), and author Zak Ferguson is penning the first Space Goblins novel: lewd, crude, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt.
About 'SPACE GOBLINS'
What began life as a cult animated short is now a full-throttle feature from director Ams Overton (MegaCity Media). Gib and Gob carve a path through a collapsing galaxy of warlords, zealots, mutants, and criminals — a sharp blend of violence, satire, and (goblin-sized) heart.
