Breaking Glass Pictures will release ‘SAUNA’, the award-nominated LGBTQ drama from Danish director Mathias Broe, on digital platforms in the U.S. on November 18, 2025.
The film follows Johan, a gay man thriving in Copenhagen’s nightlife, whose life changes when he meets William, a transgender man beginning his gender transition. Their growing relationship challenges ideas of love, identity, and human connection.
‘SAUNA’ premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, earning a Grand Jury Prize nomination, and later screened at the Göteborg Film Festival to critical acclaim.
