Created, directed, and produced by Jaxsa, 'PRODUCTO LOCAL' (Local Product) is a Spanish tragicomedy and social drama series filmed entirely across Bizkaia with more than 200 volunteers and no external funding.
Across eight 55-minute episodes, the story follows a group of marginalised characters as they try to adapt to a changing world, confronting poverty, desperation, and the consequences of past mistakes. Love, revenge, and survival intertwine in a community on the edge, where loyalty and hope come at a cost.
Filmed with a €5000 budget, the series captures an unfiltered look at life on society’s margins, blending realism with moments of dark humour.
