Film Jam, Con Artist, Ma Studios, Lava Films, and Bionaut have released the official trailer for Jurgis Matulevičius’ new feature 'CHINA SEA', ahead of its World Premiere in the Critics’ Picks Competition at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival on 18 November 2025.
The film follows martial arts champion Osvald, who is expelled from his federation after a tragic accident and becomes stranded in his Eastern European hometown. Spending his days in a Taiwanese family’s small restaurant, he begins a search for redemption that leads him into obsession, cultural tension, and further violence.
'CHINA SEA' is the first-ever co-production between Lithuania and Taiwan, featuring a multilingual cast and a blend of Mandarin and Lithuanian.
