First look images have been released from British comedy drama feature 'CROSS TALK', which has now wrapped filming and entered post-production.
Co-written and directed by Steve Nesbit ('GLOVES OFF', 'NORTH VERSUS SOUTH', 'A VERY BRITISH CHRISTMAS'), 'CROSS TALK' stars Jo Joyner ('NO ANGELS'), Mark Benton ('PERSUASION'), Bill Fellows ('TED LASSO'), Joanne Mitchell ('BAIT') and Anita Dobson ('EASTENDERS', 'DOCTOR WHO').
Shot on location across Yorkshire and at Provision Studios in Leeds, the production employed an all-local crew. The story follows journalist Diana (Jo Joyner), who checks into a rehabilitation centre for an alcohol-free break. However, she soon discovers the centre is the front for a pharmaceutical scam, with its sinister manageress Miss Natasha (Joanne Mitchell) orchestrating a cyclic, vampiric conspiracy of disturbing proportions.
Co-writer and producer Deborah Henry said:
“The film sets out, through a fictional setting, to expose how giant pharmaceutical conglomerates can abuse those with whom it is entrusted to help and protect. 'CROSS TALK' scrutinises a darkly hidden subject matter through a comedic lens, providing laughter and pathos in a hopefully entertaining and dramatic way. The entire cast and crew was exceptional. The overall production resonated with a sense of family and work ethic that exceeded our expectations.”
'CROSS TALK' Cast:
