The official trailer has been released for Aylin Tezel’s award-winning directorial debut 'FALLING INTO PLACE', which opens in select UK cinemas from 6 June 2025 via Bulldog Film Distribution.
Following its UK premiere at Glasgow Film Festival and winning the FIPRESCI Critics Choice Award at Tallinn Black Nights, 'FALLING INTO PLACE' is a romantic drama that explores chance connection, urban isolation, and emotional healing.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Isle of Skye, the story follows Kira and Ian—both in their mid-30s—who meet during a winter weekend while escaping their complicated lives in London. Over 36 hours, a deep and unexpected bond forms between the two strangers. But after being pulled apart by circumstance, they return to London unaware they now live only moments away from one another. As they navigate the city, often unknowingly passing each other, they must first confront the ghosts of their past before destiny can bring them together again.
'FALLING INTO PLACE' is written and directed by Aylin Tezel, who also stars alongside Chris Fulton, with support from Alexandra Dowling, Samuel Anderson, Rory Fleck Byrne, Anna Russell Martin, Mike Noble, and Olwen Fouéré.
The film will screen with cast and crew Q&A previews from late May, ahead of its general release on 6 June.
