Principal photography has wrapped on the new British crime caper 'GEEZERS', which is now in post-production. To mark the occasion, the filmmakers have released a striking new poster and a set of official behind-the-scenes images that showcase some of the film’s wild and explosive action.
'GEEZERS' follows the chaos that erupts after a stolen bag of money triggers a war between rival gangs. Caught in the middle are a group of hopeless, wannabe criminals known as The Geezers — a crew that’s bitten off far more than they can chew. With just 24 hours to get their hands on the cash, the streets of London are set to ignite.
The film boasts an international cast including Shaun Ryder and Bez of Happy Mondays fame, appearing in roles unlike anything fans have seen before. Also starring are Hannah Bang Bendz ('WRATH OF DRACULA'), Sean Cronin ('MISSION IMPOSSIBLE'), Ciaron Davies ('INFINITE SUMMER', 'MANSON FAMILY MASSACRE'), Conor James, Ashley Hudson, Steven Woollard, and Debra Lamb (Finding Nicole, Star Trek Enterprise and Wild at heart).
'GEEZERS' is written and directed by Ciaron Davies, known for 'GRAINNE UAILE', '5TH DIMENSION', and 'MAGIC ISLAND'. The film is produced by Loose Gripp Films and will be distributed by High Fliers.
With its tagline promising “90 minutes of carnage,” 'GEEZERS' looks set to deliver a fast-paced, bullet-riddled ride through London’s criminal underworld.
