Mystic Dream Story Studio and Stone Hill, in association with Saint Halo Productions, have released the official trailer for their upcoming psychological folk thriller 'DIRTY BOY.' The film is set to have its UK premiere at the 33rd Raindance Film Festival on 22nd June 2025.
Directed by Doug Rao, making his feature-length directorial debut, 'DIRTY BOY' stars Graham McTavish (The Witcher, Outlander), Susie Porter (Wentworth Prison, Cargo), Stan Steinbichler (Vienna Blood), and Honor Gillies (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes).
The story follows a reclusive schizophrenic raised in an oppressive cult, who discovers he's being framed by cult leaders for a series of ritualistic murders. To clear his name, he must save their next victim and dismantle the sinister sect from within.
'DIRTY BOY' has already attracted attention ahead of its premiere, earning four nominations at the Raindance Film Festival, including Best Performance in a UK Feature (Graham McTavish), Best UK Feature, Best Director of a UK Feature (Doug Rao), and Best UK Cinematography.
The film is produced by Giles Alderson (The Stranger in Our Bed, Wolves of War), Sarah Ann Grill (Slammer, Solitary), and Marek Lichtenberg (The Final 45), who also appears in the film. UK distribution will be managed by Raven Banner and Firebook Entertainment.
