'CHRISTY' follows a 17-year-old boy forced to move in with his estranged brother. As he starts to feel at home in Cork’s Northside, he’s torn between a fresh start and the pull of his past.
Starring Danny Power, Diarmuid Noyes, Alison Oliver, and members of Cork’s Kabin Studio, the film won the Grand Prix at the Berlin Film Festival and premieres next month at Galway Film Fleadh.
Backed by BBC Film and Screen Ireland, this coming-of-age drama explores identity, family, and belonging.
