Bulldog Film Distribution will release 'GAZER' in select UK cinemas from 25 July 2025.
'GAZER' centres on Frankie, a young single mother living with dyschronometria — a rare neurological condition that disrupts her perception of time. She relies on cassette tapes for daily guidance, but when she accepts a mysterious job to support her family, the decision leads to increasingly disturbing consequences.
Written by and starring Ariella Mastroianni, and directed by Ryan J. Sloan, 'GAZER' is the duo’s debut feature. Shot on striking 16mm film, the film pays homage to the paranoid thrillers and stylised suspense of Pakula, Hitchcock, De Palma, Cronenberg, Lynch, Schrader, and Polanski.
The film had its world premiere at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, with follow-up screenings at the Glasgow Film Festival and Dublin Film Festival.
