AX1 Films have launched the official UK trailer for Jonás Trueba’s multi-award-winning Spanish relationship drama 'THE OTHER WAY AROUND', ahead of its exclusive UK cinema release on 11 July 2025.
Set in Madrid, the film follows a couple who, after fifteen years together, decide to break up — and celebrate the moment with a party, just like a wedding, but the other way around. While friends and family are sceptical, the couple seem sure of their decision... or are they?
Starring Itsaso Arana and Vito Sanz, and featuring a special cameo by Fernando Trueba, the film premiered at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, where it received the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film. Since then, it has picked up further accolades and acclaim across the international festival circuit.
