🎬 Synopsis: With his once-promising film career reduced to corporate video work, Australian director Anthony Frith decides to pitch himself to The Asylum, the studio known for low-budget, high-concept genre films including 'SHARKNADO'.
Against the odds, the studio says yes, and Frith finds himself directing 'THE LAND THAT TIME FORGOT' in suburban Adelaide.
At the same time, he films the behind-the-scenes documentary that becomes 'MOCKBUSTER', capturing a production shaped by rubber dinosaurs, last-minute rewrites, limited resources, LA executives and the pressure of trying to keep a B-movie adventure moving.
The result is a documentary about chaotic filmmaking, persistence and the reality of chasing a dream inside the fast-moving world of genre cinema.
