'ROADMAN' follows Michael, a 24-year-old wannabe gangster from Basingstoke who moves to London to live with his estranged father and pursue his dream of becoming a roadman. There is just one problem — he is absolutely terrible at it.
Written and directed by Damien Brewer, the comedy series stars Michael Momodu as Big M, Lanre Danmola as Craze, Fabian Spencer, Damien Brewer, Beatrice Fletcher, Dimitris Kafataris, Sean Argue, Thomas Stocker, Ryan Thompson, Crawford Kalu, Aliaano, Piere Wilson-Cox and Gregory Fung.
Synopsis: Thrown headfirst into life on the streets, Michael quickly discovers that real road life is nothing like the videos, music and social media posts that inspired him.
On his first day alone, he encounters homeless hustlers, his cousin Craze, genuine roadmen, a volatile Russian gangster named Yuri, and a dangerous local gang known as ‘The Ops’.
As Michael desperately tries to earn respect and build a reputation, his clueless attempts at street credibility create chaos wherever he goes. Caught between fantasy and reality, 'ROADMAN' satirises modern street culture while exploring identity, belonging, friendship and the lengths people will go to reinvent themselves.
