Tubi has been announced as the official headline sponsor of FrightFest 2026, the UK’s leading horror and fantasy film festival.
The five-day event will now be officially known as Tubi FrightFest and will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from 27 August to 31 August 2026, at Odeon LUXE Leicester Square and Odeon LUXE West End in London.
BritFlicks is also proud to be an official partner of FrightFest 2026, supporting one of the UK’s most important platforms for genre filmmakers and independent horror cinema.

Tubi, Fox Corporation’s free ad-supported streaming service, launched in the UK in 2024 and has since expanded its catalogue significantly. The service now offers more than 75,000 movies and TV episodes, with a strong focus on genre fans, including horror audiences.
Ross Appleton, General Manager of Tubi UK, said FrightFest was a natural partner for the platform, describing horror fans as “among the most passionate and engaged audiences in entertainment.”
Greg Day, Co-Director of FrightFest, added that the sponsorship from Tubi will help expand the festival’s footprint, enhance the guest experience and broaden audience reach through new collaborations.

Founded in 2000, FrightFest has become one of the UK’s most recognised horror and fantasy film festivals, showcasing new work from both established genre filmmakers and emerging talent. The festival has also expanded beyond its main London event through special screenings, its Glasgow Film Festival strand, books published with FAB Press and the FrightFest Presents label with Signature Entertainment.
