Vortex will release 'LARS SHRIKE WALKS THE NIGHT' on Digital HD in the US from July 24, 2026, with the film distributed by Filmhub.
Written and directed by Gary Walkow, 'LARS SHRIKE WALKS THE NIGHT' stars Kelsey Grammer in the title role, alongside David Clennon, Christine Lin and Kati Schwartz.
The film follows Lars Shrike, a man who knows only two things: his name, and that he has escaped. Alone in a hostile desert landscape, he struggles to understand who he is, where he came from and what exactly he has fled.
As fragments of memory, hallucination and reality begin to blur, Lars is drawn into a strange journey where each answer only raises more questions. Is he a prisoner on the run, a damaged mind creating its own story, or a fictional character who has somehow stepped into the real world?
'LARS SHRIKE WALKS THE NIGHT' world premiered at the Lone Star Film Festival, where writer/director Gary Walkow won Best Feature Film.
The film is the latest entry in Walkow’s loosely connected universe, following 'THE TROUBLE WITH DICK', 'CRASHING' and 'THE TROUBLE WITH DOT & HARRY'.
