Reel2Reel Films will release British buddy comedy '49 MILES MORE' on UK digital from August 17, 2026.
Directed by Oliver Cox, '49 MILES MORE' stars Reece Henderson and Gregory Fung as two friends whose journey to a university reunion takes an unexpected turn.
Max, a struggling insurance salesman, and Doug, his chaotic and fun-loving best friend, are stranded in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down. Faced with a gruelling 49-mile trek, the mismatched duo begin a long-distance journey filled with bad detours and worse decisions.
The film is described as a humorous and heartfelt comedy about survival, brotherhood, friendship and reconnecting with your inner child.
As their journey continues, Max and Doug are reminded that life rarely goes according to plan, and growing up does not have to mean growing apart.
