ITN Distribution will release 'ED GEIN: THE HOUSE OF HORRORS', a brutal true-crime-inspired psychological horror from TAW Entertainment.
'ED GEIN: THE HOUSE OF HORRORS', is inspired by the infamous name of Ed Gein and blends psychological suspense with brutal horror.
Produced by Manchester-based TAW Entertainment, the film follows Ed Gein, a socially isolated man whose life has been shaped by the suffocating influence of his fanatically religious mother. After her death, Ed begins hearing her voice, convincing him that women are sinful and must be punished.
As his grip on reality slips away, he transforms his home into a grotesque house of horrors, leaving those closest to him desperate to uncover the truth.
The trailer teases a dark and atmospheric horror world filled with disturbing imagery, eerie hallucinations, relentless tension and gruesome practical effects. The press release describes the film as a fictional reimagining inspired by one of history’s most infamous names.
Producer Stephen Staley said the trailer captures the unsettling atmosphere and psychological intensity of the film, while only scratching the surface of the nightmare audiences can expect.
