Freestyle Digital Media has acquired the North American VOD rights to 'WHERE FIREFLIES DANCE', a romantic dramedy from writer-director Grayson Berry.
The film will be available on North American digital HD internet, DVD, cable and satellite platforms from August 7, 2026.
'WHERE FIREFLIES DANCE' follows Sadie Leggett, an elementary school teacher quietly working through grief while trying to reignite her spark. When her summer flight is cancelled, she reluctantly returns to her hometown of Little Elm, where she runs into her high school sweetheart, Jack Ryland.
Despite all the years that have passed between them, Jack’s love for Sadie never faded. Sadie is left to decide whether this unexpected return home is just a layover, or a chance to make things right.
Written and directed by Grayson Berry, the film was produced for Solar Flare Films by Grayson Berry, Brandi Price, Dena Weaver and Frank McEachern.
The cast is led by Billie D. Merritt as Sadie Leggett and Brady McInnes as Jack Ryland, alongside Katerina Damm, Deke Anderson, Colleen Mooney, Brandi Price, Thomas Ryan Ward, Jason Ramirez, Amber Burroughs, Kevin Crank, Hanh Berry, Pat Throop and Obiwan Kenobi.
Speaking about the film, filmmaker Grayson Berry said 'WHERE FIREFLIES DANCE' is built around a simple but enduring question: if given the chance, would you reunite with your first love?
Freestyle Digital Media negotiated the deal directly with the filmmakers and Dena Weaver of Solar Flare Films.
