Action Xtreme has released the official teaser trailer for 'BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE', a turbo-charged first-person POV action thriller from director Chee Keong Cheung.
The film will have its World Premiere on August 13, 2026 as the opening film of the Midnight Madness strand at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, before opening in UK and Irish cinemas from October 30, 2026.
A special 4DX screening has also been confirmed for August 19, 2026 at Cineworld Fountainbridge as part of EIFF, giving festival audiences the chance to experience the film through motion, sound, scent and full sensory impact.
Shot entirely in first person using GoPro cameras, 'BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE' combines high-octane action thriller filmmaking with the energy of an adrenaline-fuelled video game. Every punch, chase and explosion is seen through the eyes of the protagonists and antagonists.
The film stars John Hannah as Karl, who wakes in a wrecked hotel room with a splitting headache, no memory of who he is, where he is, or what has happened. When he discovers a dead body in the bathtub and two police officers arrive at the door, Karl and hotel maid Molly are dragged into a breathless spiral of confusion, conspiracy and survival.
Radha Mitchell stars alongside John Hannah, with Tamer Hassan, Lana Parrilla, Tim Fellingham, Roxanne McKee, Branko Tomović and Victor Gardener also appearing.
Director Chee Keong Cheung (REDCONE-1) describes the film as an intense, physical and technically complex creative journey, made with a cast and crew committed to realising its relentless first-person action concept.
Written by Oliver Morran and Chee Keong Cheung, 'BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE' is produced by Andreas Roald, Ioanna Karavela and Chee Keong Cheung.
