The latest film to join the BritFlicks Tubi FrightFest 2026 trailer playlist is ‘BUNNY RABBIT’, James Branson’s unsettling post-apocalyptic Australian horror from Sneaky Films and Elusive Fish.
The film will have its UK Premiere at Tubi FrightFest 2026, screening as part of Discovery Screen 2 on Monday 31 August at 10:50am.
Set in the aftermath of a climate-collapsed Australia, ‘BUNNY RABBIT’ follows a young woman roaming the ruins of a world she never got to grow up in. Raised on scavenged books and B-movies, she lives alone in an old shack she once shared with her father.
Supplies are scarce. Food is running out. There is nothing left to hunt. Nothing except other people.
Directed by James Branson and produced by Taylor Thompson of Sneaky Films, ‘BUNNY RABBIT’ stars Kate Wilson in her feature debut as Bunny Rabbit, alongside Saxon Cook as The Hitchhiker, Ôntrei as The Intruder and Australian country music star Andy Golledge as The Father.
The film arrives at FrightFest following sold-out screenings at SXSW Sydney and an event-driven Australian theatrical release across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Combining stark realism with the dreamlike tone of a scavenged B-movie, ‘BUNNY RABBIT’ explores survival, isolation and what remains of humanity after the end.
