Robert Carlyle returns to the director’s chair with 'THREE', a new short film starring Victoria Hamilton, Nicholas Rowe and Isaac Gryn.
Written by Isaac Gryn and Patrick McPherson, the film follows 24-year-old Matt, who arrives at the London home of wealthy couple Sarah and Ed after accepting an invitation for a sexual encounter. What begins as a charged proposition becomes increasingly unsettling as desire, class, power and control collide.
'THREE' marks Carlyle’s first film as director since 2015’s 'THE LEGEND OF BARNEY THOMSON' and reunites him with cinematographer Fabian Wagner.
The short premieres today at the 79th Edinburgh International Film Festival and is produced by Aldgate Pictures and Three Productions.
