Something is changing the guests at a remote countryside retreat in 'THE NICE ONES', a new British sci-fi horror feature written and directed by Peter Stylianou.
Kate joins her boyfriend’s friends for what should be a quiet countryside reunion. But after she witnesses a strange light in the sky, the people around her begin behaving differently.
They are calmer. Happier. Friendlier.
And disturbingly “nice”.
When Kate tries to convince the others that something is wrong, she is dismissed as paranoid. But the strange phenomenon may be far more dangerous than anyone realises — and whatever is transforming her friends may not be human.
Inspired by the paranoia and identity horror of 'THE THING' and 'INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS', the 85-minute feature was filmed at a single location in Kent over 19 days.
