A dancer forced to redefine her future after a life-changing accident takes centre stage in 'BALLROOM', a new romantic dance drama arriving across North American VOD platforms on September 25, 2026 through Freestyle Digital Media.
Written and directed by Laurence Walsh, the film follows Violet, an aspiring dancer whose dreams are shattered when a car accident leaves her paraplegic.
Struggling with depression, Violet begins rebuilding her confidence with support from her therapists and charismatic dance instructor Petro. Through wheelchair dancing, she discovers a new way to pursue the passion she thought she had lost.
But a callback rejection and a devastating secret from Petro's past threaten to derail her progress, forcing Violet to find the courage to believe in herself and fight for her place on the dance floor.
Madeline Delp, who uses a wheelchair for mobility, stars as Violet alongside Dmitry Chaplin, Kate Orsini, Tyne Stecklein, Jamison Reeves and Mia Schaikewitz.
