Grief, revenge and supernatural obsession collide in 'MAG MAG', a chilling new J-horror from director Yurian Retriever, arriving on UK digital platforms on October 19, 2026 through Blue Finch Film Releasing.
The film follows Sanae, a woman devastated after her beloved falls victim to the ghostly presence known as Mag Mag.
Consumed by grief, Sanae becomes determined to take revenge on the entity responsible. But the deeper she is drawn into the haunting, the more she discovers that the world surrounding Mag Mag is far darker and more dangerous than she imagined.
Blending supernatural horror, obsession and flashes of dark humour, 'MAG MAG' has already travelled the international genre circuit, screening at Beyond Fest, FrightFest Glasgow and Brazil’s Fantaspoa.
