That stability begins to unravel when a young CEO pushes Carlton's longtime publishing company towards an AI-driven future. As his professional and personal life collapse around him, Carlton reconnects with a mysterious yet familiar figure who pulls him into an increasingly surreal journey across time, space, memory and fantasy.
Moving through fractured moments of fear and uncertainty, Carlton is eventually driven towards a final crossing where reality itself begins to blur and his ultimate fate becomes uncertain.
