One Tree Entertainment will release 'SAMANTA NOBODY', a powerful new Irish drama about youth homelessness, resilience and the transformative power of music, on digital and on demand across the US, Canada, UK and Ireland on October 6, 2026.
Written and directed by Ciaran Creagh, the film follows Samanta, a teenager surviving on the margins of society after repeated attempts to find help have ended in rejection.
Living day by day and largely alone, Samanta carries with her one extraordinary gift that few people ever see: a talent for songwriting and performance.
When the owner of a local music shop recognises her ability, Samanta is confronted with a possibility she has never allowed herself to believe in โ that music could become the open door she has been waiting for.
The film explores youth homelessness, trust, creative expression and the impact one person's belief can have on a young life.
Ruby Jean Lennon stars as Samanta. Lennon received the DIFF Discovery Award for New Talent at the Dublin International Film Festival, marking her as one of Ireland's emerging performers. The cast also includes Brendan Conroy and Maggie Hannon.
The October 6 release arrives just days before World Homeless Day on October 10, with the film helping to spotlight the realities faced by young people experiencing homelessness.
