'AMAZING GRACE', a new British drama starring Hannah Walters, will open in UK cinemas on November 6, 2026 through Screenbound Pictures, following its World Premiere in Liverpool on October 29.
Walters stars as Grace, a crisis helpline volunteer who forms an unexpected connection with Walter, played by writer and producer Daniel P. Lewis, a deeply isolated man struggling with childhood trauma, addiction and shame.
As their conversations unfold, Walter is forced to confront experiences he has spent a lifetime trying to survive. Combining social realism with a restrained cinematic style, the film explores trauma, emotional isolation and the importance of being heard, while ultimately offering a story about hope, connection and resilience.
Ruth Carney, whose television credits include Shetland and Brassic, makes her feature-film directorial debut. The film also marks Hannah Walters' first lead role in a feature.
The supporting cast includes James Nelson-Joyce, Chanel Cresswell, Sonny Walker, Kelly Condron, Angela Lonsdale, Connor McIntyre and Raphael Murphy.
Filmed in and around Liverpool over just 11 days, 'AMAZING GRACE' will hold its World Premiere at the Plaza Community Cinema on October 29 before preview and Q&A screenings around the UK.
