'SEMOLINA PILCHARD', a new British black comedy crime drama from director Mike Clarke, heads to UK Digital on November 2, 2026 through Trinity Content Partners.
Set in Liverpool, the film follows a high-ranking gangster who discovers he does not have long to live and summons his estranged eldest daughter home after five years away to discuss the future of his legacy.
His youngest daughter, however, is far from happy with the arrangement.
Determined to secure the inheritance for herself, she sets out to eliminate the competition, triggering a darkly comic family feud where loyalty, power, jealousy and criminal ambition collide.
'SEMOLINA PILCHARD' combines British gangster drama with offbeat humour and a distinctly Liverpool setting, turning a battle over family legacy into a chaotic struggle for control.
The film stars Joe McGann, Sarah-Louise Chadwick, Sophia Leanne Kelly, Alina Allison, Macaulay Cooper and Joe Egan, with a cameo appearance from Ricky Tomlinson.
