'THE REALM OF ELDERVIN: GALLOWMERE', a new British grimdark fantasy adventure from writer-director Oliver Hollingdale, has unveiled its official trailer, with international representation by Black Mandala.
Featuring narration by British actor Jason Flemyng, the film brings together an unlikely fellowship for a journey into a mythical land of dark magic, deception, sacrifice and second chances.
A mysterious sickness has descended upon the sleepy village of Gallowmere. As rumours spread of a shadow haunting a forest to the northeast, Jonas the Mage recruits three companions — Dagon the Rogue, Nimue the Elf and Solomon the Assassin — to uncover the source of the evil.
What begins as a mission to save the village becomes a dangerous journey where appearances cannot be trusted and the distinction between good and evil becomes increasingly uncertain.
Combining the fellowship-driven structure of a classic fantasy quest with a darker story of personal fears and moral choices, 'THE REALM OF ELDERVIN: GALLOWMERE' asks whether those seeking to defeat evil can also find a second chance for themselves.
Natural landscapes, handcrafted costumes and detailed sets give the world of Eldervin a weathered, lived-in character, grounding its fantasy setting in earth, shadow and steel while keeping the emotional struggles of its heroes at the centre of the story.
Jason Flemyng, whose credits include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and X-Men: First Class, provides the film's narration.
The cast includes Sophie Bloor, Tess Dimos, Martin Portlock, Craig Standen, Lewis Sycamore and James Wingate.
The film has also collected recognition on the festival circuit, including Best Fantasy at Paradise Film Festival, Best Debut Director at Rohip International Film Festival, and awards for VFX / Production Design and cinematography.
