'LANDLORD', a vampire horror drama from writer-director Remington Smith, has unveiled its trailer as Black Mandala takes the film to the international market.
The film puts a contemporary spin on one of vampire cinema's oldest rules: if a vampire cannot enter your home without an invitation, what happens when the vampire owns the building?
Adama Abramson stars as a Black bounty hunter who moves into a rundown apartment complex and soon discovers that her new home hides something far more dangerous than failing plumbing and neglected hallways.
When she becomes responsible for protecting an orphaned boy, she finds herself confronting the building's predatory vampire landlord and fighting to survive in a place where the person who owns your home may also be the greatest threat inside it.
Blending drama and horror, 'LANDLORD' uses vampire mythology to explore a story of housing, exploitation, power and survival.
The film is written and directed by Remington Smith and also stars Cohen Cooper and William McKinney.
Produced by Filmsmith Productions, the 91-minute feature was completed in 2025 and is now being presented to the international market in 2026, with Black Mandala handling worldwide sales.
