'DEAD DAWN', a pitch-black American horror-comedy from director Aaron Jay Rome, will screen in Beverly Hills as part of a special double-feature event on November 7, 2026.
The 103-minute feature centres on Anna-Beth, a small-town post office clerk who is routinely overlooked by everyone around her.
Unable to say no to difficult customers, a demanding boss or a controlling ex who refuses to let go, Anna-Beth is quietly struggling to keep her life together.
But when something dark arrives with the dawn, the woman nobody noticed discovers exactly what she is capable of.
Blending pitch-black comedy, horror and small-town true-crime influences, 'DEAD DAWN' places an unlikely cult anti-hero at the centre of an increasingly violent story.
The film is directed by Aaron Jay Rome, written by Rome and Isaiah LaBorde, and produced by LaBorde.
Ashley Lenz leads the cast alongside Olivia Grace Applegate, Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders, Krishna Smitha, Michael Papajohn and Isaiah LaBorde.
The film screened at Screamfest New Orleans in October and will now appear alongside Rome's cosmic horror feature 'SILT' at Lumière Cinema at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills on November 7.
Cast and crew are scheduled to attend the event, with filmmaker Q&As following the screenings.
'DEAD DAWN' is currently seeking distribution.
