'CANTAMEN', a new Italian contemporary fantasy and survival horror feature from writer-director Giuliano Tomassacci, has released its first official teaser trailer.
The film centres on three unlikely guardians – a shy young farmer, a solitary scholar of ancient music and a celebrated iconoclastic concert conductor – who are entrusted with protecting an ancient secret.

The guardians must preserve a ritual and keep it hidden from the dangers of the modern world, but an unforeseen event triggers a difficult ordeal that forces each of them to make a personal sacrifice.
Blending contemporary fantasy with survival horror and thriller elements, 'CANTAMEN' stars Giulia Pizzi, Fabio Gagliardi, Kate Bash and Gabriela Iliescu.
The film is written, produced and directed by Giuliano Tomassacci, whose previous work includes 'THREE MIRRORS CREATURE'S FLASHES OF FLESH' and 'LABOUCHE CANALLA WINS HER SNACK'.
The production also features original music by Samantha Bird, production design by Cristiana Fasano, costume design by Silvia Burla, special makeup effects by Noemi Gorgone and sound design by Tommaso Miclet.
'CANTAMEN' is produced through Tomassacci's Split-Vision Development, in partnership with Liveup and with the collaboration of Cavalieri di Pratolungo, Comune di Sorano, Accademia Ergo Cantemus and I Custodi delle Vie Cave.
