The Black Country Horror Shorts Film Festival is open to films 5 minutes and under.
Weeping Bank Productions are inviting filmmakers to submit their films to the inaugural Black Country Horror Shorts Film Festival.
As this is their first festival, they're not putting any restrictions on how old the film is, or whether it’s been shown at any other festival etc etc, as long as it’s 5 minutes or less and in the ‘Horror’ genre.
It cost £10 to enter your film and the closing date for entries is 14th December 2019. Entries can be made via their website ► www.weepingbankproductions.co.....
The winning entry, runner-ups and honorable mentions will then be screened on Saturday 25th January 2020, at the Kiniver High School’s film theatre, home of the Kinver film club.
The judges include horror writer Adam Nevill, whose book THE RITUAL has been turned in to a chart topping Netflix movie and Worcester based Hendrik Harms, whose film company have recently adapted the Stephen King book ALL THAT YOU LOVE WILL BE CARRIED AWAY to a movie.
The top prize, along with a trophy and certificate is £200 plus a crate of Batham’s Bitter. There will also be prizes for the three runner-ups.
