Trailer for ‘SELF DRIVER’ has arrived ahead of the film’s UK digital release on 11 May, courtesy of GrimmVision.
Written and directed by Michael Pierro (‘HEY, GEORGE’), the award-winning dark comedy thriller follows a struggling cab driver who signs up to a mysterious ride-share app promising fast and easy money. Instead, he finds himself pulled into the dangerous underbelly of society, where every job forces him deeper into moral dilemmas.
Starring Nathanael Chadwick (‘THE LAST PORNO SHOW’), the film has drawn comparisons to ‘BLACK MIRROR’ and ‘TAXI DRIVER’, with critics calling it “one of the smartest and most unique psychological experiences” (★★★★ Dread Central).
Synopsis: Facing mounting costs and the pressures of modern life, down-on-his-luck cab driver D signs up to a mysterious ride-share app that promises quick cash. As he navigates a series of increasingly dangerous assignments, he is drawn into the dark shadows of society and forced to confront moral choices that challenge his very understanding of free will.
